Catherine received her bachelor’s degree in German and communication sciences & disorders from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. After that, she received her master’s degree in speech-language pathology at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. Catherine has been part of the CI team for 1 year working at the Verona clinic. Prior to working at CI, Catherine worked in the schools with the preschool through high school grades with students of diverse needs including autism, DHH, vision impairments, deafblindness, as well as working with bilingual populations from both the Spanish-speaking and D/deaf communities. Catherine also has experience working with Alternative Augmentative Communication (AAC) across a variety of systems, devices, and access methods. She is passionate about giving everyone a voice helping them to communicate meaningfully with the world around them. Outside of work, Catherine enjoys listening to podcasts and audiobooks, staying active, and spending time with her friends. Catherine is excited to be part of the CI team and to help others become the best communicators that they can be!
