Bonnie enjoys reading, especially when she can read on an ocean beach! She has a passion for traveling! One of her goals is to travel to all 50 states in the United States – she has 22 left to go!

Bonnie graduated from UW-Whitewater with a bachelor’s of education degree in English and psychology. She has taught English and writing at the high school and middle school levels. After navigating through the special education system in public schools as a parent, Bonnie decided to go back to school to pursue a certification in special education, with an emphasis on specific learning disabilities. With her certification she worked in elementary and middle schools as a special ed teacher. Before becoming a special ed teacher, Bonnie worked at Bethesda Lutheran Homes as a caregiver for developmentally disabled adolescents. She also built, owned and managed a restaurant and was a lifeguard. Bonnie is passionate about helping families navigate the special ed system and advocating for children. She is thrilled to work at CI Pediatric Therapies and enjoys helping pave the way for families who are just starting their journey at CI!
