Autumn ran her first half marathon in summer 2020. Her favorite Laffy Taffy flavor is banana. She loves spending time with her husband and two cats, Theodora and Steven.

Autumn double majored in communication sciences and disorders and Spanish, and she earned her master’s degree in speech-language pathology from UW-Madison. She is also a graduate of the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disorders (LEND) program through the Waisman Center, where she received specialized training in interdisciplinary care and treatment for a variety of developmental disabilities. Autumn is passionate about family-centered practice and helping children of all ages with communication; she has an extensive background in working with children who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and is a AAC+Gestalt Language Processing (GLP) trained clinician. Additionally, she has experience in helping college students transition into young adulthood at Mansfield Hall and Cutting Edge, which are postsecondary programs for independent living and vocational skill building. Outside of the clinic, Autumn enjoys reading a good book and trying new restaurants with her husband, friends, and family.
