Ashley loves adventuring with her children. She also has a cat, 2 puppies, and an African dwarf frog. When Ashley is not spending time with family or working, she loves cooking new recipes.

Ashley earned her bachelor’s degree at Carroll University in educational studies with a minor in psychology. After a few years of teaching preschool, Ashley discovered occupational therapy and knew it was her calling. She returned to Madison College to get her COTA license in 2014 and has been working in pediatrics ever since. Ashley has extensive special training, including feeding training in both the SOS approach to feeding, and The Get Permission approach. She is also trained in Food as Medicine. She is trained in the Suck Swallow Breathe Synchrony, infant handling, and a variety of vision, mental health, trauma, interoception, and sensory regulation interventions. Ashley loves to follow the lead of the child to facilitate progress towards OT goals. She always incorporates a child’s passions during her sessions. When she is not working, Ashley can be found adventuring with her own children, spending time outdoors, and cooking.
