Alyssa received her bachelor’s degree in communications Ssciences and disorders from UW- Whitewater in 2021. Before getting her graduate degree Alyssa took the year to work in child care, learning more about child development, and working with children, and their families. She then went on to get her masters degree in speech language pathology at Concordia University Wisconsin. There she gained clinical experience working with pediatrics in different settings such as schools, outpatient clinics, and early intervention. She has worked with all ages from 0-101! Alyssa’s passions include feeding therapy, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) , Early Language Development, language, and developmental disorders. Alyssa has a passion for family-centered care and play-based learning. In her free time Alyssa enjoys going for long walks, listening to music (specifically Taylor Swift), hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
