Abby was born and raised in the Madison area. She earned a bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She earned her doctorate degree in occupational therapy from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, where she helped develop and implement a self-regulation and executive functioning program for early childhood educators and early learners within the Minneapolis community. Abby is passionate about life-long learning, collaborating and empowering children and families, and making therapy fun! Abby has participated in various sensory processing and integration trainings, including CLASI, which supports providing skilled assessment and intervention within the scope of sensory integration, DIRFloortime®, as well as multiple Kelly Mahler courses on interoception.
