Sydnie can lick her elbow, she is obsessed with her kitties, Frank and Sonny, and she is always looking to make people feel seen and more importantly make them laugh.

Sydnie is a graduate of the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Madison College. Her passion for working with children stems from a background as a camp counselor and Children’s Ministry Director. Sydnie’s special training includes certificates in Bal-A-Vis-X, The Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to Feeding, Language Acquisition through Motor Planning, and interoception curriculum. Her special interests encompass toileting, puberty, mental health, executive functioning, growth mindset, sensory processing, neuroplasticity, reflex integration and self-regulation. Sydnie’s own ADHD diagnosis has informed and supported her neurodiversity and affirming practice through occupational therapy sessions at CI. Sydnie is passionate about supporting the clients and families that come to CI as well as collaborating with other disciplines both a part of the CI team and outside providers to promote continuity. When interacting with Sydnie you can expect a focus on fun and function. 

Outside of her role at CI, she enjoys hiking, baking, cooking, Pokemon Go, baseball and spending time with her husband and daughter.
