Stacy earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Iowa and her occupational therapy assistant degree from Kirkwood Community College. She has over 11 years of occupational therapy clinical experience working in a variety of settings, including skilled nursing, school-based, outpatient, inpatient, and homecare. She enjoys learning and finding new ways to make her sessions client-driven and fun, as well as being evidence-based and including neurodiversity approaches. She recently attended continuing education to further support her clients, including CLASI – Module 1 Ayres Sensory Integration Theory and DIR 101: An Introduction to DIR and DIRFloortime. She is currently in graduate school to advance in the occupational therapy profession. In her free time, Stacy enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking walks with her dog (Homer), exercising in the early mornings, playing and learning trivia, watching Iowa football, and memorizing music lyrics.
