Sierra’s favorite food is poke bowls. Sierra loves a good thriller/suspense movie or book. When Sierra was younger she wanted to be a soccer and basketball player, while owning a marina in Florida.

Sierra received her bachelor of science in exercise sports science and master of science in occupational therapy from the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse. During her time in La Crosse, Sierra was able to work as a behavioral treatment technician, supporting young children on the autism spectrum. Sierra completed one of her fieldwork rotations at CI where she fell in love with the people and values that the company represented. During this experience, Sierra gained experience working with children with social-emotional, sensory, and developmental differences. Sierra’s passion lies in pediatrics and supporting children and their families with everyday needs while helping children reach their greatest potential. Sierra developed an interest in neurodiversity affirming practices that support and affirm the differences of children that are not developing in the standard, neurotypical way. Sierra finds happiness in celebrating the successes and strengths of children and enjoys supporting growth in all areas of life through play. Sierra received feeding therapy training through CI and is excited to further support families and children with oral sensory processing and feeding differences. Sierra loves being part of the CI team where she can provide family-centered care in a fun and welcoming environment. In Sierra’s free time, she enjoys being outside (if it isn’t below 20 degrees!), reading, participating in sports, and spending time with her family.
