Sam played competitive soccer for 15 years. She had the opportunity to play soccer at the collegiate level while attending Western Illinois University for undergrad. She loves coffee and enjoys trying new coffee shops. One fun fact about Sam is that her high school mascot was a pretzel.

Sam graduated from Western Illinois University with a master’s degree in speech-language pathology. Throughout the program she gained extensive experience working with the pediatric population, with a wide range of ages and diagnoses. She provided services in the areas of expressive and receptive language, articulation, phonology, childhood apraxia of speech, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), fluency, and social language. Sam completed clinical rotations in various elementary schools and in the private practice setting. She actually completed one of her clinical rotations at CI! Sam feels passionate about building strong relationships with clients and families in order to provide effective and meaningful therapy. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going on long walks, traveling, going to the beach, working out, and trying new restaurants.
