Olivia has been with CI since 2020. Olivia received her bachelor’s degree in political science and Spanish at the University of Minnesota. Before she found her passion for speech-language pathology, Olivia was an early childhood educator for three years. She earned her master’s degree in communication sciences and disorders at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. There she gained experience working with a diverse clientele including children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, speech sound disorders, and language delays. Olivia is passionate about providing neurodiversity affirming, evidence-based, functional speech and language therapy that fits each individual child and family. When she is not working, Olivia enjoys spending time in nature with her family and friends, and reading books with a warm cup of tea. Olivia has received specialized training in the following: Orton-Gillingham approach to literacy, Selective Mutism, Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) for gestalt language processors, DIRFloortime®, and Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) for childhood apraxia of speech.
