Megan earned her bachelor’s in psychology from the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities and her master’s in occupational therapy at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Megan has been an occupational therapist at CI for over a decade! She has experience working with individuals with a wide variety of diagnoses including autism, cerebral palsy, ADHD, sensory processing disorders and developmental disabilities. She has participated in continuing education in the DIRFloortime®, the Analysis of Movement from an NDT Perspective, infant massage, sensory integration, Interoception, environmental design and the Get Permission feeding approach. Megan loves being a part of the CI team! In sessions, she enjoys following a child’s lead and is passionate about providing family-centered care. Her favorite thing to work on with kids is self-care skills through play contexts. She also loves to problem solve adaptive strategies and fabricate devices to help kids increase their level of independence. In her free time, Megan enjoys spending time with her family, crafting, traveling, and spending time outdoors. Watching her daughter, Juniper, learn and grow has been one of the greatest joys in her life.
