McKenna earned her BS in biology from St. Norbert College, where she played collegiate soccer and volunteered with the Boys and Girls Club, Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital and Children’s Wisconsin. Her passion for occupational therapy deepened through her experience volunteering at GiGi’s Playhouse and providing summer care for an adolescent with Down syndrome. McKenna completed her Master of Occupational Therapy at Concordia University Wisconsin. Her therapy background spans a wide variety of populations, including outpatient pediatrics, birth-to-three services, and outpatient orthopedics. She loves incorporating her knowledge of sensory regulation, life skills, and orthopedics into her practice. She is committed to designing engaging and meaningful therapy sessions that are centered on each client’s values and interests, ensuring that every child’s goals are achieved with enthusiasm and care. Having grown up in the Madison area, McKenna is thrilled to be working in a community that she cares so deeply about!
