Laura loves cheese! She enjoys trying new recipes and having culinary adventures. Laura has been on two dinosaur digs, and her favorite dinosaur is the brachiosaurus.

Laura completed her collegiate career at UW-Madison, with a BS in rehabilitation psychology and an MS in occupational therapy. Laura conducted research on children’s executive functioning and provided in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy for children with autism diagnoses for over five years during college. Laura has worked with pediatric, adoelscent, and adult populations with a variety of diagnoses, including autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, spina bifida, and burns. Additionally, Laura has experience with interventions such as Constraint-Induced Movement Therapy (CIMT/HABIT), Intensive Method with TheraSuit, the Zones of Regulation, DIR Floortime, interoception, 360 Thinking/Get Ready-Do-Done, prevocational skill development, and social skills related to relationships and sexuality. Laura’s therapy philosophy is that functional participation and client interests should guide all interventions and activities. Laura is AOTA board certified in pediatrics and enjoys pursuing leadership opportunities in the occupational therapy community, and beyond! In her free time, Laura loves hanging out with her family and friends, playing board games, kayaking, and hiking.
