Kalin is the proud owner of a golden retriever named Tucker who could easily win the "laziest dog in the world" award. She is a new mom to a sweet baby boy. Kalin is almost 6 feet tall and loves country music and Taylor Swift.

Kalin earned her bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her master’s degree from the University of Minnesota. Despite comfort working with a wide range of ages and diagnoses, Kalin has a great deal of experience working with young children with articulation and language disorders. Kalin is an NLA trained clinician with extensive knowledge in gestalt language processing assessment and treatment. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge of how to best support gestalt language processors, no matter the client’s age. Kalin also highly values educating others on neurodiversity affirming goals and approaches. She has taken additional courses centered on understanding the needs and motivations of autistic social communication with an emphasis on authenticity and acceptance. Kalin is PROMPT trained and enjoys working with families to facilitate language development and functional communication. In her spare time, Kalin likes to cheer on the Packers and Badger volleyball team, go for walks with her family, and cuddle up with a chai latte and a book. Kalin has been a part of the CI team for almost nine years and is looking forward to continuing to meet all the awesome clients and families who come to CI!
