Emma earned her bachelor’s in health sciences from the University of Minnesota- Rochester and her master’s in occupational therapy from the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse. Emma then went on to complete a 54-week dysphagia fellowship at the Mayo Clinic where she completed clinical dysphagia evaluations and videofluoroscopic swallow studies daily. After the fellowship, Emma worked for just over 2 years at a pediatric clinic in rural Southern Oregon, working primarily with kids with autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing differences, ADHD, developmental delays and feeding concerns. She is certified in the Beckman Oral Motor and SOS Approach to feeding. In her free time, Emma loves spending time outside with her husband and 2 dogs, Lily and Ciri. Emma loves working at CI because of the fun kids and team that make every day an adventure!
