Emilie grew up in Central Wisconsin. She loves spending time cooking for her family and friends and walking her dog, Kozmo! Emilie has traveled to Australia to collaborate with students and researchers in the field of speech-language pathology!

Emilie received her bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her master’s degree in speech-language pathology from Texas Christian University. Emilie has been at CI for 3 years and is passionate about serving pediatric clients in her community. She has received additional trainings in Natural Language Acquisition for gestalt language processors and in treatment of phonological speech sound disorders. Her clinical interests include early language development, speech sound disorders/articulation, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Emilie is passionate about family-centered care, sparking language through connection driven sessions, and treatment that is focused on each child’s unique needs and interests. In her free time, Emilie enjoys cooking new recipes, reading, and spending time with family and friends!
